WebPressGrabber is a specialized internet bot software for press and public relations agencies and in general for any organization that deals with press reviews and/or press monitoring; it is fully automated, stand-alone and user-configurable.

With WebPressGrabber you can download PDF pages in a fully automated way from hundreds of online national and international publications (daily newspapers, weeklies, monthlies) both free and subscription-based. You can schedule the download of each edition on a daily and/or weekly basis (or request it manually through the operator) based on fully customizable flexible priorities and retries. The downloading of PDF pages can be complemented by additional steps at the discretion of the user through the intuitive program configuration interface.

WebPressGrabber provides for the normalization of the downloaded files names through templates that can be customized using macros, the conversion of PDF pages in other bitmap graphics formats such as TIFF, JPG, JPM, the combination of individual pages in multi-page PDF documents or, conversely, the extrapolation of individual PDFs from multi-page PDF documents. The conversion into TIFF or JPG can be further customized by specifying the physical size in mm and/or DPI of the target page.

 WebPressGrabber has two processing modes, the manual mode (the process is activated at the user's specific request ) and the automatic mode, in which the process starts at the time and on the days specified by the user through the configuration interface from which each individual task can be scheduled. The interface is available both in Italian and in English.

Through the WebPressGrabber interface you can easily and accurately configure the additional operations to be performed
on downloaded PDFs for each configured task,whether it consists in converting formats, combining pages or other tasks. Each task is executed according to a priority order that can change dynamically also based on the scheduled start time, the scheduled end time  and the importance assigned to each specific task.
